511 error connecting to /usr/sbin/vmware-serverd

If you get this error when trying to connect from the Vmware Console or the MUI web interface (also root will get emails every hour from the status.pl monitor process):
ps -efl | grep vmware-serverd kill -9 XXX service xinitd restart service httpd.vmware restart
This allows connection without restarting all of the individual VMs.
